A refund of the Homestay Fee must be requested in writing by completing a Refund Request Form and submitting it to the Principal.

Selection Process
Family members: All homestay families undergo a detailed interview in their homes designed to evaluate their suitability for hosting international students.
Home environment: General living spaces including bedroom, bathroom, and laundry facilities are inspected and photographed.
Police screening: All homestay family members 18 years and older undergo a police check by the York Regional Police to ensure they have no criminal record of any type.
Matching Students with Families
International students and hosts are matched according to their interests, background, lifestyle, personal needs and preferences.
Monitoring
Routine monitoring of the student and host family ensures that they are adapting well. Regular visits are conducted and the Homestay Representative is available seven days per week, 24 hours per day for consultation if required by the student or their family. A toll-free, 24-hour emergency telephone number is provided to both the student and their family.

For Elementary Schools (JK-8) 13,000.00 CAD per year (6,500.00 per semester)
